1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They can be needed for a site to work, can remember your preferences, or can be used to measure use and target advertising.
2. Cookies we use
| Category | Used | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Yes | Keeping you signed in to the Deskely platform, and security and load balancing set by our hosting provider |
| Preferences | No | Not used on the website |
| Analytics | No | Not used on the website |
| Advertising | No | Not used, and we do not allow advertising trackers |
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, the website does not ask for cookie consent. If we add analytics or other optional cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
3. The Deskely platform
When you sign in to the platform, it sets session cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account. They are deleted when you sign out or when the session expires. The field application may store project data on your device so that work can continue offline; this data syncs when you reconnect and is managed by your organisation.
4. Third-party content
Some pages load images from third-party content delivery providers. These providers receive your IP address in order to deliver the content, but we do not allow them to set tracking cookies through the website.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website or the platform from working, including signing in.
