Overview

Delta compares two revisions of a drawing tag by tag, lists every addition, removal, move and change, and traces each one to the ITRs, punch items and procedures it touches, before anyone signs against the old revision.

Delta is part of Deskely Engineer, one of four suites across the life of a project. Every product reads from and writes to the same tag register, so each stage starts with clean data from the last.

Used by completions engineers, interface and change managers, commissioning leads and document controllers.

What happens when a new issue of a drawing comes in.

  1. 01Every drawing with more than one revision

    Delta lists every drawing uploaded more than once. Comparisons are detected from Drawing Parser uploads, or created by hand.

  2. 02Delta compares every tag

    Each tag on the new revision is matched against the last, and the AI summary says what moved.

  3. 03See what changed

    Added, removed, changed and clean matches, counted and listed tag by tag, each with a suggested action.

  4. 04Check a tag field by field

    Open any tag to compare its fields across both revisions and the Review Tab, then go to Review Tags or ignore the suggestion.

Delta does the comparing. Engineers make the calls.
