Overview

Conform checks bid documents, and later the build itself, against the client specification and the code clauses that apply, and returns a deviation list with the evidence for every finding.

Conform is part of Deskely Engineer, one of four suites across the life of a project. Every product reads from and writes to the same tag register, so each stage starts with clean data from the last.

Used by bid and proposal teams, technical authorities, quality and compliance engineers and owner's engineers.

What Conform replaces.

Checking compliance clause by clause.

TodayA compliance matrix filled in by hand, one clause at a time, against the bid.
With ConformCompliance by section and a deviation list, with the clause and page behind every finding.
How Conform works

From bid documents to deviation list.

What happens when a bid, or later the build, is checked.

  1. 01Load the documents

The bid or the build records, with the client specification and the codes it calls up.

  2. 02Checked clause by clause

Every requirement is matched to what the bid or the build says, and marked compliant, deviating or missing.

  3. 03Compliance by section

See at a glance which parts of the bid or the build are compliant and which need work.

  4. 04Get the deviation list

Each deviation with its clause and its evidence, ready for a clarification log or sign-off.

Conform does the checking. Technical authorities make the calls.

Accepting a deviation stays with your technical authority.

  1. 1Checked by Conform

Every requirement in the specification and the codes it calls up.

  2. 2Flagged for review

Each deviation or gap, with the clause and the page that misses it.

  3. 3Your call

Your technical authority accepts it, asks for clarification or rejects it.
