Leadership. Deskely is run from Singapore by its Founder and Chairman, with one executive answering for each part of the company.
Hans Jacob Hvide
Hans Jacob Hvide founded Compass Energy in Singapore in 2003 and leads it as Chairman.
A marine engineer based in Singapore for more than 25 years, he co-founded Prosafe Production (formerly Nortrans Offshore) and led it as Chief Executive through its main growth years, until its acquisition by BW Offshore. At Compass Energy he has directed FPSO conversion and construction projects, and the completions system first built for them that has grown into the Deskely platform. He holds an MSc in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSc from Texas A&M University.
