The problem
The claim depends on records written three years earlier.
When a component fails inside the warranty period, the argument is about what was installed, how it was torqued, whether it was preserved and what was accepted at takeover.
If that evidence sits in a scanned archive owned by a contractor who has demobilised, the claim is settled on commercial pressure rather than on fact.

Provisional and final acceptance
PAC and FAC are certificates with conditions attached.
Provisional acceptance usually carries a punch list and a set of outstanding obligations. Final acceptance closes them.
Deskely holds both as certificates issued per asset from the underlying records, with the carried items owned, dated and visible to both parties throughout the period.
Nothing quietly disappears between PAC and FAC, because the list is the same list the whole time.
End-of-warranty inspections
The inspection campaign is the last chance to move cost back across the line.
End-of-warranty inspections run across the fleet on a fixed template, offline, with photos — the same execution model as construction.
Findings are raised as punch against the asset and linked to the original installation record where relevant, which is what turns a finding into a claim.
Fleet-level reporting shows how many assets have been inspected, what was found and what remains contested.
Major component replacement
A blade or gearbox exchange is a small commissioning project.
MCR campaigns need the same discipline as installation: component traceability, lift and torque records, functional testing and a return-to-service decision backed by evidence.
Deskely runs them as scoped campaigns against the existing asset register, so the replacement record joins the asset's history rather than starting a new file.
Years later, the asset shows what was original, what was replaced, when and on whose signature.
Availability and serial defect campaigns
The warranty is settled on numbers, so availability and defect evidence has to be defensible month by month.
A service agreement warrants an availability figure, and the difference between the warranted and the achieved number is a payment. Getting there means agreeing downtime categorisation turbine by turbine, event by event: OEM fault, grid curtailment, weather standby, owner-caused outage or force majeure.
Alongside that sits the serial defect question — once a fault appears on enough positions it becomes a campaign with a different commercial owner, and the threshold argument is won or lost on how consistently the individual events were recorded.
With defect records, categorisation and evidence held against each position from the day it was taken over, the monthly availability report and the serial defect case are built from the same signed history both parties already accepted.
The warranty baseline
Performance is judged against a baseline, and the baseline is only defensible if it was recorded, not remembered.
Availability and power curve disputes in year two are argued from records taken at warranty start, not from the punch list. Deskely keeps every warranty-relevant record against the asset from the day it was signed, so the baseline the operator inherits is the one the OEM actually tested.
